For our first blog post, we would like to start off with a editorial by Alex Wellever.

Black and White, Up and Down, but Red and Green?
Most people think that if you are a “Red” person, you’re not going to live when the world becomes “Red.” Just so you all know, on the color wheel, red is across from green. A “Green” person is truly a“Green” person. A “Red” person is truly an “anti “Green” person.” The world is turning red so fast.

Did you know that because of climate change, there is now a chance of a hurricane hitting New York City sometime in the future? Is that at all normal? I thought not. The average American life expectancy is around 80. Because of climate change, a hurricane from Miami, Florida can reach New York City, New York within a day and a half?...

Green Tip of the Week Our Wonderful Community!
Buy one large gallon of milk rather than several smaller containers of it because of all of the energy wasted to make the numerous containers. Also, try to buy it organic and locally. If not, try soy milk. Cows emit a gas that harms the earth.

Climate gate controversy...
Result: Scientists' emails hacked

As you might have seen on the news or in the papers, scientists are saying climate change has stalled because the planet hasn't heated in a decade. (?) However, others believe this is only propaganda and fraud coming from non-believers of the climate crisis. They were right. A CNN story revealed how people hacked scientists' emails to spread the rumor. HOWEVER, people are saying THAT is propaganda. (Very confusing story)
Basically they are denying the emails were hacked. It is a circle of controversy.

I personally agree with CNN, for there is strong evidence of global warming. But, of course, that's just me. :-)

If you don't know what it is, basically if you have a "clunker" (gas guzzler) you are able to trade it in to be recycled for an eco-friendly car for thousands $ off.

I don't mean to crash the party... and I don't want to start fighting. There is no plausible evidence that global warming is unnatural. The magnetic field was just at its peak... it's slowing down. Of course, pollution is still a problem I agree with that. But I believe Global Warming is actually part of a cycle. We were at global warming and now we're going into global cooling. It will get darker, and the polar ice caps will re-expand. I have no intentions of fighting, I just want to debate what you guys think about it.

Everyone, don't you think that our site is kind of boring to registered users? I mean, there is nothing really to do. You can read green tips, which is kind of boring. Our editorials never get added to. The you page really does not have much activity and after you vote on a poll, nothing really happens. So, does anyone have any ideas on how to make this site better for registered users? Or do any registered users want to confirom the info. in this thread? Then just reply!
Thanks,

~eRICK
